    Why are you doing half squats? Why not hit depth (below parallel) ? You’re skipping all the fun part 😉

      I’d love to be able to but I’m struggling to get the depth at the moment, I’m progressing through my weekly videos…I’m determined to get there though!

      Do you have any advice that might help?

        take the weight down and commit to doing it. If you can sit on a toilet, you can squat below parallel. I have been coaching for years and I have never met someone who isn’t physically able to do it. I’ve met plenty of people who say they can’t but after an hour of coaching and pushing past mental barriers, they can all do it.

        Practice with a PVC pipe if you aren’t confident enough to do it with the bar yet. Also, try putting a box behind you and squatting to the box.
